The grade follows from medium, temperature and pressure. The list below is a selection, not a limitation – we supply the grade that design and specification call for. Each grade has a data sheet with composition, properties and standards.

From what quantity is a special part worthwhile?
From a single piece. What matters is not the quantity but whether the part exists as a standard item. On larger batches the unit price drops markedly, because setup and testing effort is spread.
What has to be on the drawing?
Dimensions with tolerances, material grade, surface and edge details, the standard or works standard to apply, and the required certificate to EN 10204. If the tolerance is missing it is taken from the general tolerance class – rarely what was meant.
Can you supply to a works standard instead of DIN or EN?
Yes. In special parts, works standards are the normal case, for instance for collars with a recess or flanges for shipbuilding. Send us the works standard and it is worked to.
How long does a special part take?
That depends on material availability and scope of testing, not on the geometry. Stock materials shorten it considerably; a 3.2 certificate with third-party inspection extends it. Tell us your target date and we commit or decline realistically.
Are special parts held in stock?
On request, yes. For recurring demand we stock your special parts and deliver just in time on call-off. That pays off above all for parts with long procurement times.
