Boiler tubes rarely arrive on site in mill lengths. We supply them ready to install – cut to length, bevelled, bent and marked, exactly as your drawing specifies.
What does boiler tube processing cover?
Boiler tube processing covers every step that turns a tube in mill length into a part ready to install: cutting to size, weld preparation by bevelling, cold bending to radius, swaging or expanding the ends, drilling and marking. What matters is that tolerances, bevel angle and residual wall match the drawing and the applicable code – otherwise the tube does not fit on site or the weld is not accepted.

Hydrostatic test to the applicable code and drawing, with test report.
Traceability
Batch and heat number of every item remain traceable through the documentation.

Boiler tube processing – frequently asked questions
Which bevel angle is the right one?
The welding procedure decides, not habit. In boiler work 30° and 37.5° are usual, each with a defined root face. Give us the WPS or the bevel angle from the drawing and we supply to match.
How accurately can tubes be cut?
± 1 mm to fixed length is usual. Tighter tolerances are possible but must be stated in the order – they cost time and cannot be produced afterwards.
Are tubes marked by item number?
Yes, on request with the item number from your parts list, in addition to heat and material. That saves sorting on site and keeps the link to the certificate traceable.
Is traceability kept after cutting?
Yes. The heat marking is transferred before cutting and reapplied to every section. Each piece therefore stays linked to its certificate to EN 10204.

Parts list or drawing with lengths, tube size and wall thickness, material grade, bevel angle or WPS, the marking you want and the required certificate to EN 10204.
